Howard Karno Books, Inc. since 1973 has specialized in Latin Americana. We cover Mexico, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, the Hispanic United States and the Iberian Peninsula. Subjects and materials include original documents, manuscripts, photography and archives with a strong emphasis on history, archaeology and the arts: fine art, folk and popular arts, architecture, photography, exhibition catalogues, music, cinema, first edition literature, performing arts, artists' books, portfolios, posters, and gastronomy for all time periods. Our offices provide a constant flow of material from throughout Latin America.

Howard Karno Books, Inc. founded as Libros Latinos in 1973 and became Howard Karno Books in 1975. Dr. Karno received his Ph.D. in Latin American history from UCLA, and was joined by his wife Beverly (M.S. 1973) in the1980's.
