Pio Alberto Collivadino (b. Buenos Aires, 1869-1945), painter, print master, illustration and set designer was the direction of the National Fine Arts School and the founder of the School of Decorative Arts as well as a promoter of the Taller de Escenografía of Teatro Colón. He was representative of the Generación del 80 (along with Sívori, Della Valle, de la Cárcova and Giudici). He also created the grupo Nexus with Fader, Qirós and Yrutía. He was the first artist from Argentina represented at the Venice Biennal (1901). This monograph is an extensive study of his work and life and artistic relationships. Collivadino fue un pintor, grabador, ilustrador y escenógrafo. Fue director de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes y fundador de la Escuela de Artes Decorativas. Este libro reúne parte importante documentación de sus obras y esta acompañado por un estudio de la profesora Laura Malosette Costa.
