Major anthological exhibition in Chile after a 25 years absence of artist Jaar (b. Chile, lives and works in New York). Although internationally recognized and whose conceptual works have been exhibited in major art festivals, Jaar is mostly ignored in Chile. This shared 2 venue exhibition pretends to reconcile the artist with his country of origin. Jaar's experiments with different media and advanced technology and his controversial installations are analyzed by various art experts: "Un logo para América" (1987) by Rodrigo Zuñiga; "Sin título: Agua" (1990) and "Fuera de balance (Out of balance)" (1988) dedicated to Mexican immigrants in the USA by Ana Maria Risco; "El silencio de Nduwayezu" (1997) by Bruno Cuneo; "Lamento de las imágenes" by Sandra Accatino and "Buscando a Gramsci", "La celda infinita" and "Deja que cien flores broten" by Pablo Chiuminatto, finally his film Muxima is reviewd by Adriana Vadés.
