Colombia lives and works in New York City), where the artist explores the relationship between the private and the public identity of the female body and associates her own self-images to physical or emotional contact, sexual codes and gender. The artist comes from a fashion design background and perceives clothing as cultural skins while stating that close and out of context self-representations of her own body parts can be considered "obscene."
