Ramirez Vázquez (b. México 1919), one of Mexico's most famous contemporary architects, is also an urbanist, a designer and an extraordinary artist that has worked, designed and experimented with glass and crystal as his means to artistic expression. In an homenaje exhibition organized by Museo del Vidrio in Monterrey, Mexico, almost 150 transparent and colored translucent pieces of his most recent production in glass and stainglass windows were exhibited. The cultural center Museo del Vidrio is sponsored by VITRO, Mexico's largest industrial glass producer.
