Cajamarca, a region in northern Peru, has always been renown for its fine folkart. A population of talented men and women artisans working in family workshops manufacture beautiful and a variety of popular art products like: cinchos, ponchos, alfarjas, ikates and muñecas de pan, dolls, decorated sweets, with techniques as old as the ones used in pre-Columbian times.
