Since their first medium-length film "Chircales" (1966-1972) to "Amor, mujeres y flores" (1988), the audiovisual and photographic work of Marta Rodríguez and Jorge Silva has focused on documenting the conflicting realities of exploited or marginalized communities and in investigating forms of reconstruction of the memory of a muted history of Colombia. The book comprises a selection of unpublished images of Bogota that allows the viewer to renew the look at the work of these two filmmakers, usually known for their work on indigenous and peasant struggles in the second half of the 20th century. Published on the occasion of the exhibition held Dec. 19, 2013 - March, 2014 at the Museo de Bogotá.
