Pachacamac was one of the most important Pre-Hispanic sanctuaries of the central Peruvian coast. During the Inca era (15th and 16th centuries) the place was part of the wide territory of the Tawantinsuyu. This inca presence is reflected not only in large buildings, such as the Temple of the Sun or Acllawasi, but also in the everyday and ceremonial objects found at the site. An important part of these findings are plates and pitchers, with shapes and designs typically Incan. This catalogue presents a representative sample of the Inca pottery discovered in Pachacamac, currently part of the collection of the Site Museum.
