The book by architect Martha Levisman is the history of the origin of the national parks in Argentina, in the early 20th century, protected areas "for the comfort of the people and the conservation of nature" and the planning, creation of villas in the different natural sites and the urban design and development of towns and cities in the Patagonia. The French neo-gothic architectural style -which expanded across the region- of the buildings and houses, characteristic for their quality, elegance and mastery solution was the creative legacy of noted architect Alejandro Bustillo (b. Argentina 1889-1982). Illustrated with full-page color photographs by Andrés Barragán of impressive landscape and architecture landmarks of the park taken at different times of the year along with plans and drawings from Bustillo's personal files and vintage photographs taken by the best period photographers lead Manuel Gomez Piñeyro during the inauguration of Bustillo's most representative works like: Parque Nacional Lanín, Hosteria Futalaufquen, Civic Center and Cathedral of San Carlos de Bariloche, Hotel Llao Llao, who was destroyed by fire in 1938 and reconstructed immediately, his own house by the Lake Llao Llao, and houses in Aruncó, Pehuén, and Cumelén amongst others.
