The present critical study documents 40 years of artistic trajectory of figurative artist Poupee Tessio (b. Argentina 1941). Illustrated with more than 100 color reproductions of her most representative art, the book is a visual panorama of the universes created by Tessio where women, flowers and trees are main inspiration and the central characters of her unique body of work. Tessio displays a rich variety of techniques spanning from academic mastery to innovative experimentations that include works using fragments of paper or fabrics in her collages to object installations.
