CD-Rom comprising a catalog database of the produced and used ceramic in the region of Río de la Plata spanning the last 400 years. The author has studied more than half a million of ceramic fragments recuperated in the urban archaeological excavations and existing objects from the holdings of private collections, museums and research centers in Argentina. Entries include information of origin, manufacture date and use, composition and types of objects done in majolica, grès, and porcelain ceramic recuperated in the city of Buenos Aires and surrounding regions. The present research was awarded Honor Mention by Fundación para la Investigación del Arte Argentino and won the prize Telefónica de Argentina in 1998.
