Catalogue of an exhibition centered chiefly on paper drawings (ink, graphite and pencil) created by Joaquín Torres-García (b. Uruguay 1874-1949), a charismatic figure internationally admired as one of the most influential Latin American artists of the early 20th. century. The drawings span from 1898 to the 1943 and are an extraordinary opportunity to examine the master's evolution from his early academic works into his constructivist work.
