Cartagena: Fundación Fototeca Histórica de Cartagena de Indias; Banco de La Republica, Área Cultural, 2006. b/w plates, ports., facs., illus., cat., color pict. wrps. Item #86548
The book is a compilation of the daily photographic scenes of traditional "barrios" of the city of Cartagena (Colombia) from 1890 to 1955. This second volume contains only photographs donated by the citizens of Cartagena and are a more intimate, more human and "parochial" photographic version than the contents of the first volume. Both volumes are the resulting recompilation and classification project lead by the late Dorothy Johnson de Espinosa and her 2 decades of devotion to create the Fototeca (photographic archive of the city).
