Research on the ethnic groups of the Tomárâho and Ybytóso, know as "Chamacocos" in the high Paraguay, where anthropologist Sequera has gathered oral testimonies regarding their cosmography and expressed in their drawings and rituals body art. Artists Flores Balbuena and Dohorâta the 2 authors of the drawings that illustrate the mythical narrations come from the Tomárâho and Ybytóso communities respectively, and while both ethnic groups are related linguistically and culturally to the Zamuco group they are geographically and historically distant.
