First retrospective exhibition on Salvatore (b. Brazil 1914) a master photographer considered one of the pioneers of modern Brazilian photography. The exhibition covers 4 decades of his production characteristic for his studied geometric, sometimes abstract compositions that play with light and shadows, who in recent years evolved into laboratory experiments of color circular forms and anti-symmetrical compositions. Savatore, a founding member of the school of photography Foto Cine Clube Bandeirante (1939) is still considered a constant forward looking force in Brazilian photography.
