Panorama of the life and art work of surrealist painter and sculptor Conti (b. Argentina 1931, immigrated to US in 1977), who was a member of the Grupo Litoral, along with painters Juan Grela, Zerva, Pedrotti, Miranda, Ottman, García Carrera, and others. In New York, he painted the urban landscape: mixing signs, buildings and people, however often using Pre-Columbian elements and symbolism. The book is divided in two separate sections titled: Between the Organic and Dense World of the Littoral and the Inorganic Landscape of New York (Raul Santana), and the second: El realismo mágico de la urbanidad: Nueva York y el arte de Raul Conti (Taina Beatriz Caragol-Barreto and Marc Neumann).
