Pascale (b. Montevideo, Uruguay 1942) has said of his use of wood, "I work with it, with it's naked past, allowing wood to reaffirmed and recreate not only in the past its own history, but from there to generate knowledge for the future". In this exhibition he presents a retrospective of monumental and public geometrical, mainly cylindrical and round wood sculptures using pieces of discarded wood form junkyards, factories, and railroads, selecting only material from Latin American forests to create monumental movement pieces.
