A catalogue of Sarjo's (b. Chile 1965) exhibition of 23 paintings on paper. Sarjo uses the metaphor of the experience of Chile in globalization as a dark-haired woman, who is La Matria de Chile, engaged in a fierce battle with a blond, a stand-in for the paler proverbial blond American. His works are photographic images of women in bondage, dating to the 1950s and 1960s. ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEXT.
