Chilean painter who develops an interesting artistic work, both with oil, watercolor, acrylic and with various techniques of engraving. She worked in the Graphic Workshop of the Catholic University of Chile, until she was exiled during the Pinochet dictatorship country. Upon her return in 1980, she participated in the Visual Arts Workshop. She has received multiple awards and some of her works are part of the collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Modern Art of Chile and the House of the Americas, of Cuba. Among the milestones of her career, she appears as the first woman winner of the Valparaíso Biennial. In his work, an iconography of an Americanist style is important, with the presence of conquerors and oppressed peoples.
