An exhibition that commemorates the 70th anniversary of the inauguration of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. The catalogue includes history of the murals done especially for the building by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco and Rufino Tamayo, as well as the murals originally conceived for other precincts by Roberto Montenegro, Jorge González Camarena and Manuel Rodriguez Lozano (now part of the museum) and the historical context of each mural, presenting sketches, documents and hemerographic material related to their creation.
