Pio Collivadino (b. Buenos Aires 1869-1945) academic painter and Director of the Academia de Bellas Artes (Fines Arts Academy) in Buenos Aires, from 1908 to 1936, became the teacher of a large number of 20th century painters from Argentina. His life long production is now exhibited permanently in the Pio Collivadino Museum.
