The exhibition is a tribute to artist Hilda López (B. Montevideo 1922-1996), an active member of the 60's movement in Uruguay known as Informalistas, a group of abstract expressionists painters, (Agustín Alamán, Nelson Ramos, Andrés Montani, Américo Spósito and others) that experiment with the deconstructive drawing or the anti-drawing to express movement in their works. A strong critic and an active militant against the military regime in Uruguay, her last paintings reflect the social conflict in her country.
