Alvarado (b. Mexico, 1956) reveals his predilection for the brush. The work of Alvarado besides working on the problem of representation, problematizes reality by transmuting it. He often uses the same figures (primarily fruit, vegetables or plants) but his execution places the objects as in a still-life. The series presented here date from 1999-2001.
