Account of the trips of architects Frank Lloyd Wright to Brazil (c. 1931) and Vilanova Artigas to U.S.A. (c. 1946) and the results and legacies of their experiences. In Wright's visit to Rio de Janeiro, he outlined his ideas and views for the future which help to inspire and fuel the Brazilian modernist movement in the 1930's. The journey of Artigas, furthered the young architect's enthusiasm for Wright and inspiration for numerous future projects in Brazil.
