FIRST EDITION of classic work on Peten. Morley was in Guatemala for almost 40 years studying many of the subjects associated with archaeology especially Maya Hieroglyphs. He was a pioneer in the discovery and translation of Mayan Hieroglyphs. The complete collection includes a 7th volume with no title, T.p. or numeration, containing only plates (some fldg.) no text. This addendum has an ink hand written dedication and signature by Morley in the front blank leaf.
