The Johnnie Walker en las Artes began in 1994, in Peru. Since then it has been expanded to include Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. From the local exhibitions the idea is to create a Latin American collection to be exhibited internationally. This is the first Colombian edition of the program and includes 60 artists who who selected from over 500 entries. The catalogue highlights the 25 finalists who submitted paintings upon the theme "red" as a concept associated with a wide gamut of meanings throughout human history.
