Although Ehrenberg has been very active in Méxican arts since the 1960's it is dificult to see his work since he has not exhibited for some time. The museum chose to show work created specially for the museum's hall and placed 1,500 cubic metres at his disposal. Two very large books, the first of which consists of five volumes and the second of seven volumes constitute this interactive three-dimensional installation. His obession over books goes back to 1971 when he began working with threedimensional objects and about two dimensional documentation of three dimensional events. The "Past Imperfect", which refers to the arrival of Europeans and Africans to this continent settled by peoples who had cultures, myths and rituals of their own. ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEXTS.
