The present catalogue is a product of the homonymous exhibition devoted to the visual exploration of Rivera's reflections on art. This first volume is a comprehensive collection of Rivera' s writings in English, covering his partially fabricated autobiography written in collaboration with Lolo de la Torriente and Gladys March, his apprenticeship years and his life among the European avant-garde. The edition described as "words that illustrate" and "illustrations that speak" includes images of Rivera's artistic creations alongside artwork by other artists. With critical texts by Maria Teresa Franco, Magdalena Zavala, Juan Rafael Coronel Rivera, and Roberto Pliego. "Commemorative edition on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the Museo Estudio Diego Rivera"-Back T.p.
