México, D.F. Editorial RM, 2005. b/w and color plates, facs., illus., cat., bio/chron., ind., bibl., color pict. d.j. Item #2000092
For the first time, in the present volume, attention is focused on one of the least known segments of the prolific production of graphic art genius Posada (b. Mexico 1852-1913), the inexpensive chapbooks published for the fast-growing reading public of modest means in the last quarter of the 19th century. The well edited catalogue presents more than 240 color facsimile reproductions of the chapbooks arranged according to their contents: songbooks, children's books, plays and verses and diverse manuals. Also available in a Spanish language edition.
