SIGNED, NUMBERED AND LIMITED EDITION OF 10 COPIES of a photographic portfolio by photographer Jordán Rodríguez who portrayed the volunteers of the the processions, the "Via Crucis" (Latin for "Stations of the Cross", a recreation of the Passion of Jesus Christ, from its trial to its crucifixion) in Iztapalapa. The stage is the roof of the house of the Cano family, place where, since 1943, each year the characters dress and characterize to start the procession on Friday of Crucifixion. The the house of the Cano family, where acting workshops are organized, is located in the starting area of all the processions and with it in the origin of the celebration. This particular house is located in the middle of the area of the highest human concentration in of Mexico City and it becomes for a few months a year in everyone's house. The roof of the house, the only space devoid of scenery and ambience, is where Ropdriguez is able to subtract the actors from the context of the celebration and, at the same time, shows us the urban landscape of Iztapalapa where the people who are chosen to embody these characters live.
