A commemorative exhibition celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Papal Bulla of Pope Benedict XIV declaring the virgin of Guadalupe as Patroness of Mexico. The exhibition included more than 40 paintings and diverse prints by 18th century artists that include: Miguel Cabrera, José de Alzíbar, Joseph Sebastian and Johann Baptist Klauber and Nicolás Rodríguez Juárez among others honoring this historic event. Includes descriptions and history of other images of the Virgin Mary portrayed in the Atlas Mariano.
