First issue of architectural journal for professional architects in Mexico. The SAM has its origin at the beginning of the Century, from the integration of a group of enthusiastic architects who in 1905 formed the Society of Mexican Architects, which is legally constituted, on March 18, 1919, with the name of “ Asociación de Arquitectos de México, AC ”, a name that is modified on August 11, 1934, by the name it currently holds. The school Subsequently, the Law on Professions demands guilds, the creation of collegiate bodies of professionals, which gives rise to the College of Architects of Mexico, AC, which is legally constituted on March 11, 1946, although then under the name of “College de Arquitectos Mexicanos, AC ”, a name that underwent several transformations, in 1968 as the College of Architects of Mexico, until finally in 1994, it remains with the name it currently has“ Colegio de Arquitectos de la Ciudad de México, AC ”.
