MAJOR illustrated edition on the history and the artistic patrimony of the MAMBA collected in its 56 years of existence. This publication marks the recent opening of the museum after a long restoration project. The editorial project will be updated with a virtual `work in progress` that will include the biographies of artists uploaded constantly into a web server. The carefully edited volume includes selected essays by art historians and curators that analyze the history of the institution and the multiplicity of aesthetic expressions and cultural movements in the 20th century, particularly the figurative art of the 1970's, the conceptual art, the moving art, video art, experimental cinema, and the innovative objects of the industrial and graphic designs.
