The exhibition corresponds to the first half of the 20th century of Mexican artistic production, a Post-Revolution period of creative renaissance that produced such masters as: Diego Rivera, Rufino Tamayo, Jose Clemente Orozco, David Alfaro Siqueiros, Frida Kahlo amongst others. The exhibition also features sculptors like Luis Otriz Monasterio, Germán Cueto, photographers Tina Modotti, Edward Weston, Manuel Álvarez Bravo and Agustin Jiménez and talented woodcut printmaking members from the Estridentismo and ¡30-30! artistic movements. Issued also in French under title: L'art moderne mexicain: 1900-1950.
