Exhibition of the collection of prints and antiquarian books from the 14th to the 18th century lent by the Franz Mayer Museum of Mexico and exhibited in MAC. Print works by masters such as Pieter Brughel, Albercht Dürer, Otto Vaenius, Heinrich Aldegrever, Adriaen van Ostade, Rembrandt, Lucas Cranach (the Elder), Theodor and Phillipe Galle, Lucas van Leyden, Anthony van Dyck and Ferdinand Bol, offer a thematic panorama of emblems, historical portraits, allegories, social life and religion along with a detail example of the technical aspects of engraving and the history of the book.
