Video presentation of Pascale's (b. Montevideo, Uruguay 1942) several monumental public sculptures, many of them never seen in Uruguay. Eight pieces were created specifically for the exhibition "Nueva economía: ruedas y cilindros" . The artist own words define his extraordinary works "I fell and visualize the wood -the main material in my works- as a paradigmatic symbol of life in its different manifestations. I work with it, with it's naked past, allowing wood to reaffirm and recreate no only in the past of its own history, but from there to generate knowledge for the future". Pascale a professional economist, was until 1996, the President of the Central Bank of Uruguay. ENGLISH AND SPANISH TEXTS
