Catalogue raisonne, of paintings, prints and reproductions by Zuñiga (b. Costa Rica, lived and worked in Mexico) considered to be one of Mexico's leading masters of the 20th century with 375 illustrations. Zuñiga's art primarily represents the human figure, particularly that of the indigenous woman. Zuñiga is heavily influenced by ancient art, and his interest in pre-Columbian culture. The catalogue raisonne is to be published in three volumes: II. Oil Paintings, 1925-1964; III. Drawings, 1920-1990. This is a beautiful production and an ESSENTIAL REFERENCE.
