Medieval Catalan art pieces shown in three different buildings (three different exhibits) as follows: Pia Almonia showcased objects from the 10th to the 12th century period; Salón del Tinell of Palau Reial Major showcased the period from 1208 to 1276; and Iglesia de Santa Ana showcased gothic art from the 14th and 15th centuries. The catalogue includes a description and history of each art piece as well as an essay on the periods that covered each exhibit. The exhibit occurred simultaneously with the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
