The exhibition "Imagens do Brasil: 80 anos de Modernismo" (Images of Brazil: 80 years of Modern Art) brings two extraordinary collections together in one exhibition for the 80th anniversary celebration of the 1922 Week of Modern Art. The organizxers sought inspiration from two great collections of Brazilian and Latin American art: the Nemirovsky Collections, with 62 works by 26 artists, covering the period from 1920 to 1960). The second collection has its own catalogue (see separate entry) is the Cisneros Collection, which present 136 works by 52 artists representing the period from 1931 to 1999.
