The first retrospective of works by this noted Brazilian artist (b. Portugal, 1947; immigrated to Brazil in 1953) as presented in a one-man show sponsored by the Centro de Arte Hélico Oiticica. This artist is deeply influenced by cubism, modernism and neoconcretist spatiality, and creates his work in a variety of forms such as paintings, installation art and preformance art.
