Izquierdo, (b. Mexico 1902-) one of Mexico's best known artist, is a master of intensly colored easel and watercolor paintings. Member of Mexicos mural renissance, she was the first Mexican woman to have a solo exhibition in the Art Center of New York in 1930. Influenced by Diego Rivera, her works are unique and powerful works of art . The book contains 64 color illustrations.
