Retrospective where photographer Marcos López (b. Argentina, 1958) leaves temporarily the territory reserved for photography to explore new formats, media and artistic languages. This eclectic collection of works span from 1978 to 2012 and comprises installations, sculptures, drawings, watercolors, acrylics and hand-colored Surrealistic montages and interventions over museum posters and photographs. "The "illegitimate son of (Andy) Warhol" (in his own words), grandson of Berni and rebel great grandson of Carter-Bresson, Marcos López decides to play with classic formats, avant-garde and postmodernism. And to charm us with his "combine paintings"." (Our translation) --P. [7].
